Re: New 18650 owner

I am a fan of rechargeables overall
- With the exception of odd/non-replaceables.

I know rechargeable AAA, and AA very well. This 18650 is just a new beast.

3 out of 1000's of criminals.

Meanwhile, we watch as someone who is at best...distasteful, at worst, ignoirant (as in really doesn't know what is/isn't ok because playing outside his game) get persecuted.

Time to invest in Banana futures, because the Republic is changing.

Re: New 18650 owner

Well, the COast light it is in, is pretty good. And, now I have two batteries - one from the light and one with the charger. We'll see.

New 18650 owner

Not by choice. Was checking gear and found out my flashlight on my AR Pistol Go Bag was dead. Turns out the Coast light on there is a rechargeable 18650. Just got my Amazon Charger, which came with a battery also. We'll see how this goes. I'm getting a little weary/leary of all the rechargeable stuf...

Re: Your advice to someone starting to prep in 2024?

Bob has a very good suggestion. Full disclosure: I have around 2-3 thousand rounds of just 9mm. And guns in all common calibers. However, shooting has been a lifelong activity/hobby. That said... Finances, Fitness, Food/Water/Fuel/Tools/Comms/etc...ALL more important than more ammo beyond the afore...

Man - Pop Tarts are a WEEKLY survival food around here.

Can't imagine an SHTF or Zombie Apocalypse without them...

Re: Your advice to someone starting to prep in 2024?

You need two 50rd boxes of Pistol ammo, and one box of shotgun shells, and 3 mags of ammo for a black rifle.

If you have that, focus on EVERYTHING else.

Bought a better Katana
Sorted out the ammo closet - this was important. Getting tough to get to guns/ammo.
